Tips for Visiting Burj Khalifa
●
Dubai’s busy months are between Oct-March, and
if you happen to be travelling during this time, be sure to make your
reservations at least 3-4 weeks in advance because the tickets sell out pretty
fast. However, if travelling during off-season, it’s commendable to purchase
your tickets in advance at least 2-3 days before
●
Prior to selecting your day and time of visit
to Burj Khalifa, ensure to check on weather forecast. Bad weather-the likes of
fog, rain and haze could possibly ruin your views from these observatories.
●
Another spectacle you shouldn’t definitely
miss out on is the magnificent Dubai fountain show that takes place from 6pm at
intervals of 30 minutes all the way until 11pm
●
The tower is open to the public every day from
8:30am-11pm
●
If you won’t have booked your ticket online,
head over to Arabia Horizons Tours ticketing counter on the lower ground floor
of Dubai Mall. If you booked your ticket online, showcase them on your
smartphone at the will-call counter.
●
Children below the age of 4 don’t require a
ticket. There’s a special ticket price for children aged 4-12 years. Anyone
else beyond the age of 12 will be charged normally.
●
To get to the Burj Khalifa, first understand
that the tower is located in Downtown Dubai precisely in Dubai Mall. Although
it’s pretty easy to arrive here, visitors are required to walk through the mall
to gain access to the entrance. Once at Dubai Mall, walk through the mall to
the Lower Ground floor. Note, Taxis are not allowed to take you all the way to
the entrance, unless of course you’re a resident at Armani hotel or possess
reservation at At.Mosphere restaurant.
●
If visiting here by Metro, board the redline
to Burj Khalifa metro station. From here you could walk or take the F13 bus and
alight at the next station-Dubai Mall Bus Stop. Walking is highly recommended
though, at least burn some calories on your vacay ;)
●
If visiting from Abu Dhabi, take the exit to
financial centre road (Doha) on first interchange. The approach road to Dubai
Mall will be located on your right hand side.
●
Avoid huge luggage inside the tower. Incase
you have such, be sure to check them in at the secured baggage area located
near the entrance.
